So Excited!

Des and I just got to Zwolle and we are so excited for conference this week! It will be busy though so I'm not sure if I will be able to post much... but I promise there will be tons coming next week!

Weekend Update

Mondays have become my recovery day. Since being here in Rijswijk the weekends have just been exhausting and its so good to have a day to get back into the swing of things. This week it was even better because Des is free from work and didn't have to get up early or anything! (Last week was really awesome too.. but I will post pictures of that later!)

This weekend we had another team of people come from Zwolle to help us out. It was so cool to see everyone again and I so appreciate people giving up a free day to come down here!!! We had 4 visitors that evening and one sweet older lady yesterday. Several people who were interested gave us their phone numbers too (on Saturday) so we are really excited to see what will be happening in the next couple weeks.

Stupidly I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures from Saturday but I did want to share some from two weeks ago when the YJP (young Jesus People) were here.

Just starting

For a little while now I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog. I love blogs, they are part of my daily routine and an endless source of inspiration. It seems like a great way of sharing ideas and things going on in my life. It also makes me a little nervous putting myself out there but i've decided to give it a try! So here goes nothing :)

My life is at a very exciting point. I have been married for almost two years now (to the amazing and gorgeous Mr Des), but about 6 months ago we decided to say yes to a big change, something that we felt God was leading us into. Now we have been living in Rijswijk, the Netherlands for about 3 weeks and we are so excited to see what the future holds for us here... or anywhere!

We are busy trying to start a church and I will be excited to share whats happening there as well as a little bit of the trouble we are getting into! And maybe some recipes, crafts and photos. Ok. lots of photos.
