Family Dinner

Yesterday Desmond's family came to celebrate his birthday with us! It was so fun and such a treat that everyone could come because we don't actually get the chance to all be together that often. (my father in law did manage to hide from the camera though)

I sometimes always have a hard time getting up in the morning.. so that is one reason I'm so thankful for my husband who makes me a cup of coffee before he gets in the shower.. almost every morning! :) but besides the obvious of maybe going to bed earlier are there any other tricks you have found for getting up? please share :)

really I'm hoping they win at least a couple games in the European Championship..
otherwise everyone will be really depressed... 

We have been really busy lately... but I realized its been way too long since I have posted.. I will try to do better again :) 

So a quick recap of what we have been up to lately... Last weekend we were in Zwolle again for a couple days.. I got to see my friend Regina's baby, Jayden! So happy for her :) but my camera batteries died when we got there.. so I will have to get pictures next time.

This week was Desmond's 23 birthday!! I can't believe we have been together for 4 years now! He is just the most amazing husband and best friend a girl could ask for. We will be having a party next week so I will try to get some good pictures then! 

and my nephew, Melchior is getting so big.. he is learning new tricks every day and I bet he will be walking around before long! 

 

we are also still waiting for my visa.. but it looks like everything is going well this time.. hopefully we will have it soon! (but it could take until november) I will post the whole story once its all over and done with.. but thanks for all of you who have been praying! I'll keep you posted.
